The biggest grossing movie release in 2015 and one of the top 5 grossing movies of all time see's the return of Steven Spielbergs Jurassic Park franchise, although the story was very similar to the first Jurassic Park, this time in the fifth outing it's more bigger, hence the title "Jurassic World" so this movie looks very good on the big screen. Chris Pratt plays a good dinosaur expert and impressive in his interactions with the four velociraptors he had trained and as he his the expert in this movie you know something is going to go very wrong when he desplays his discontent for the creation of a new dinosaur (Indominus rex)through genetic modification. If you've seen the other Jurassic Park films you'll kind of know whats going to happen in this one but it is still great fun to watch especially for the younger crowd which the movie is aimed at.

Located off the coast of Costa Rica, the Jurassic World luxury resort provides a habitat for an array of genetically engineered dinosaurs, including the vicious and intelligent Indominus rex. When the massive creature escapes, it sets off a chain reaction that causes the other dinos to run amok. Now it's up to a former military man and animal expert (Chris Pratt) to use his special skills to save two young brothers and the rest of the tourists from an all-out, prehistoric assault.
This 1973 surrealist release is the brainchild of the
Chilean-born filmmaker Alexandro Jodorowsky, who directed and also played the role of the alchemist, as well as composer, set designer and costume designer of
the film. The movies producer was Allen Klein, the manager of the
famous british rock group 'Beatles' and owner of the independent major
record lable ABKCO records, who also destributed the film which was
funded by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. The movements from the opening scene ritual are actual movements of a Japanese tea ceremony.
Jodorowsky states that in the opening scene, the girls themselves were not actual actresses, merely two people who "wanted to have a spiritual experience. They were searching for their own truth, the naked truth." Under the direction of a Japanese Zen master, Jodorowsky spent a week without sleep and lived with members of the the cast for a month who was also involved with spiritual training methods such as yoga before filming started, and was even advised to take psychedelic substances for more expansion of consciousness.
After the first scene of the alchemist performing a ritual, we're introduced to the main character known as "the thief" in the second scene who as an uncanny resemblance to the image of Jesus Christ that everyone is familiar with, the director plays on this in a bizzare way that many would think of as a form of desecration.
Filmed in Mexico, The Holy Mountain is filled with sacrilegious images and metaphorical themes that are so freakily deep and symbolic in every way that it either scares you off or makes you want to understand it more, the nudity is a minor issue compared to the many other shock values that this movie as to offer.
At first look i was able to tell that this was a very artistic approach to movie making, the seventies definitely had its fair share of cinematic creativity thats unmatched by any other decade, The Holy Mountain is one of those exceptional work, the freedom of creativity desplayed in this movie is unparalleled and safe to say no filmmaker today has the balls to make this type of movie which made me enjoy this cult classic even more for its bold dipictions as the director challenges you to look at the problematic social issues surrounding religion, militarisation, consumerism, politics and even
art it self.
Within all the chaos, this movie as a divine message begging to
be seen and heard if you allow it, which i did and at the end was worth
it and turned out to be a good watch.

This 1971 classic, A Clockwork Orange is by far my favourite British movie to date, set in the near future as described, this movie as a mish mash of Slavic words from other languages in Europe interwoven into a sort of cockney shakespearean English dialogue, which made me feel like i was listening to a play by Shakespear, so that was interesting and fun. The title, A Clockwork Orange also as an interesting metaphor, which is, a Clock is mechanical and a Orange is more organic like a human, and when you mix both you get A Clockwork Orange, which Alex, the lead character in the movie is turned into, after he's jailed for murder then released after he was programmed through a new experimental aversion therapy called Ludovico technique, which controls is behaviour into being a law abiding citizen. the famous American director who lived in England, Kubrick only took a little over a year to film and release this masterpiece, the movie was originally a novel by English writer, Anthony Burgess, who had it published in 1962. The movie received a X-rated certificate on release in 1971, because despite the great storyline, inventive title and innovative dialogues, the movie was mainly about Alex, a hooligan and leader of a gang 'Droogs' who indulged in criminal acts in what is referred to in the movie as 'ultra-violence'. I personally felt the violence in this movie was needed to shape the story in the best way possible, it wasn't just mindless violence, if you follow the story rather than just the violence it all makes sense at the end.
The director Stanley Kubrick described the movie as:
"...A social satire dealing with the question of whether behavioural psychology and psychological conditioning are dangerous new weapons for a totalitarian government to use to impose vast controls on its citizens and turn them into little more than robots."

Many might argue that this is John Carpenter's best work, that might be true, and thats saying a lot since he has a very impressive catoluge of work, there's just something about this movie that rings close to home for many, if not from the alien perspective, you can surely see the implementations of a controlled social hierarchy like the ones of todays society in this movie. Directed by John Carpenter and released in 1988, They Live as become a cult classic, starring Roddy Piper, who was a well known pro wrestler from the 80's to 90's, in this movie he plays 'Nada' which means 'nothing' in spanish, that pretty much sets the tone for the vagabong character he plays. The movie explores the idea of aliens influencing and living amongst us in everyday life, unrecognisable unless seen through the lense's of special sunglasses, what also makes this movie very interesting is the way it portrays the very well known elite's agenda of control through such avenues as mainstream media, advertising and television. In 2013 Roddy Piper took to the social media site Twitter, proclaiming "They Live is a documentery!" which to me and many others is actually not a far fetched statement. The movie is based on a short story "Eight O'clock in the Morning," by Ray Nelson, the movie was made and released about twenty-five years after the original story whose main character, George Nada, dies at the end due to a heart attack at 8:00 in the morning, in the movie, the character George Nada, played by Roddy Piper, didn't die, but on July 30th, 2015, twenty-seven years after (They Live), Piper himself also died of a heart attack.

The all new female ghostbusters cast gives an interesting and easily marketable twist to the reboot of the great franchise, judging by the picture posted online by the director with the members in their ghostbusting outfit and gear i can pretty much guess by the female actresses who's persona they will have from their past male counterparts and even a cameo's from Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray are confirmed. as been a while and people are eager to see what will happen with

site Twitter by the director Paul Feig with the hashtag, #whoyougonnacall Ghostbusters is due for release in 2016.
Erin Gilbert (Wiig) and Abby Yates (McCarthy) are a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. A few years later Gilbert lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia University, but her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Gilbert reunites with Yates and others when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.
Paul Feig also twitted other pictures, included was the new ghostbuster mobile (ecto 1) with the hashtag #whattheygonnadrive and another picture of the new Proton Pack with arrows pointing to and detailing functions of the equipment.
It all seems very similar to the original idea apart from the obvious changes to the characters of cause, i for one think the idea is to keep in mind the die hard fans of the original Ghostbusters while also trying to appeal to a new demographic to bring the franchise back in this genaration.
